Shanghai-203

Shanghai-203 samples

These are shots taken with a Shanghai-203, a Chinese Agfa Super Isolette-style folder, but it has a wind lever! It needs manual cocking of the shutter though. And it would sometimes fire whilst barely touching it when focussing or adjusting aperture, so I lost a few shots. Nevertheless, a fine camera. An occasional light leak though. Shots were taken at various locations in and around Edinburgh and one somewhere in Wales.
I photograph the negatives and invert the colours in Photoshop, but it's difficult to get it right. For 35mm my scanner does a better job with the colours, but a worse job in terms of resolution. But it doesn't do 120 film. In any case, as long as the photos were properly lit, I managed pretty well. The first one isn't great due to light leaks and difficult colours.
