Voigtlander Bessa-L samples

These are shots taken with a Voigtlander Bessa-L. This is a relatively modern film camera made by Cosina in Japan, who purchased the rights to the name Voigtlander. The lens used here was a Voigtlander Color Skopar 25mm f/4, again a modern version. I used some old expired film and the photos turned out a bit grainy with strange colours (mostly fixed in post-processing). As most cameras I use have a 50mm lens (or equivalent for other film formats) this was a bit of a different experience, much more snapshot-like than I am used too. I could put a longer lens on the camera, but then focussing becomes an issue, as it has no rangefinder. So despite the camera being very reliable (a welcome change!) I am not sure I'd take it out much. However, my main thought was to use it for street photography, which I haven't yet tried.
Photos are from Dalry in Dumfries and Galloway, Holyrood Park in Edinburgh and Portmeirion in Wales, see my Nikon S2 series for some B&W photos of the latter.
